ATW Cross Country Series – Round 2
Introducing Round 2!
For those who participated in Round 1 and have now dried out, this is the chance to do it all over again on a different, equally challenging course.
If you were not entered into Round 1, this is the chance to get involved in the second of the three-race series to be held in the private grounds of Merchant Taylors School, near Watford, between October and January.
Tackle an amazing cross-country series set in the private grounds of the beautiful Merchant Taylors School, which boasts stunning views, a magnificent lake, stream crossings, a mixture of fast running and muddy tough going.
All three rounds in the series will be chip-timed formats using our proven method of starting in small waves to be Covid-secure. During the registration process, you will be asked to complete your PB/estimated time over 5K and 1.5K. This information will help us to place similarly paced runners in each wave. All series entrants from Round 1 will have their place automatically transferred to this round with their finishing time in Round 1 being used to seed the waves.
Wear your club colours with pride! We look forward to seeing clubs taking part and competing for the series team prize.
Series entries are no longer available but you can enter this round and the next one when entries open. All series entrants have been automatically transferred to Round 2 and Round 3.
Final details, start times, formats and course distances for Round 3 will be advised after the this second round. Each race will use a different single lap course and/or different format to provide a varied challenge.
Many people are understandably nervous regarding entering events again and we want to assure you that we take every measure we can to organise a safe, socially distanced event. To see this in action watch our video Covid-19 Safety at ActiveTrainingWorld Running and Triathlon Events
