Open Water Swimming Time Trials Start from 10:30am
The Triathlon and Aquabike events are now sold out at Dorney Lake on 12 September but there is a waiting list if you would like to apply to enter.
But there is still time to enter the Open Water Swimming Time Trials.

The purpose built lake is perfect for open water swimming and offers the perfect opportunity to take on your first Open Water race or test your fitness and go for a personal best.
All swimmers will be started at 20 second intervals with the fastest swimmers going first. This is based on your estimated finish time for your chosen swim distance (1500m or 750m) which you will be asked for on registration.

Race numbers and timing chips will be collected at Dorney Lake on the morning of the race. Registration for the Swimming Time Trials opens at 09:00am.
. Please arrive in plenty of time to collect your registration pack and set up in transition.
The day license for Non-BTF members is included in the entry price.
Book your place
You can book a maximum of 2 places per booking. Please be very careful to complete each booking in a different name with different personal details. Do not copy your details to the second attendee.
Please complete your swim time as accurately as you can in minutes/seconds (e.g. 12.30)

Due to current restrictions all event staff and volunteers will need to complete a BTF Pre-Health Questionnaire. This also applies to Spectators and competitors. Event Chip Timing will record your times. Results will be live at www.eventchiptiming.co.uk throughout and after the race.
The swim will be 1 lap for 750m and 2 laps for 1500m. All swim events will take the style of a time trial with athletes started at 20 second intervals with the fastest athletes starting the swim first. This is based on the estimated finish time given at the checkout when entering.
The route is clockwise. The course will be well marked with swim buoys after completing your lap, you will head for the swim exit marked by flags.

Other Race Information
It is a statutory requirement that every competitor completes a BTF Pre-Event Health Questionnaire no more than 14 days before the start of the event. This will be emailed to you on the weekend before the event. It is important that you complete and return this to confirm that you are fit to run and have not experienced any Covid-19 symptoms in the last 14 days. You can see the full guidance issued by British Triathlon HERE.
You will be provided with two race numbers in your registration pack. Your race number must be clearly visible on your front for the run and on your back for the bike. If you are not using a race belt, please pin one number on your back and one on your front. If you are using a race belt, only one number is required, provided you adjust the position of your race number during each leg of the race.
Swim hats are compulsory and will be provided
Wetsuits are mandatory below a water temperature of 14 degrees Celsius and prohibited above 22 degrees Celcius. Water temperature will be taken on the morning of the race and not beforehand. We will not be able to provide ANY information on this matter until the morning of the race.
Parking and Transport
There will be free parking for all participants next to the event village and start and finish!
Changing and Bag Storage
We will not be providing a changing area, therefore please come changed and ready to race.
There will be toilets a short distance from the transition area.
The organisers hold the rights to amend/cancel any event at late notice. This includes any aspect of the event such as race time, date, venue, fees or prizes. In the event of a cancellation that is beyond the control of the organisers, such as adverse weather conditions and communicable diseases, attempts will be made to reschedule the event and entries will be automatically transferred. Where an event can not be rescheduled committed contractors will be paid and remaining funds will be offered as partial refunds or donated to charity. Where an event is not fully cancelled or rescheduled and the participant chooses not to race, they will not be entitled to a refund.
By entering this event you agree to the below terms and conditions:
Your name, date of birth and email details will be onto the chip timing company. Personal details will be deleted 1 week after the event.
Where specified on the booking form any medical information will be passed onto the medical team present at the event.
1) I declare that I am medically fit to compete & understand that I do so entirely at my own risk.
2) I understand that I enter the race at my own risk and that no person(s) or organisation(s) will be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss to myself, prior to, during or after the event.
3) Participants agree to allow RunThrough to use any images obtained on the day on their website or to be distributed to third parties.
4) I understand the organisers reserve the right to alter the arrangements and conditions, should circumstances require.
5) By entering this event, the athlete indicates acceptance of BTF rules.
